Borussia Dortmund have made a formal bid for the Shakhtar star who was reported missing few days ago. However, Dortmund's bid is believed to be below Shakhtar's asking price so Liverpool may still be able to get their man. Dortmund is moving swiftly to replace the talented Robert Lewandowski who is wanted by rivals Bayern and a host of other big clubs. It is unclear who Mkhitaryan himself fancies but a failed move to Liverpool has been cited as a reason for the player's absence from training few days ago.
